You’ve all seen this happen and I have too. She seems to have it all - tall, slender, beautiful and you might even think they make the perfect couple. Then just as quickly as their relationship began - it’s over. Often people immediately wonder what happened? Didn’t she have everything going for her?

It’s true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What one person thinks is beautiful isn’t always shared by everyone else. However, for purposes of this blog post and video let’s consider our question. If you think about friends or family members you’ve seen go through a relationship break-up or even watched the disintegration of a famous relationship, I’ll wager you’ve thought about this question and wondered the same thing.

Don’t get unwittingly mired in believing that you need to be perfect to find love. Men are not the one-dimensional creatures we’ve been led to believe by fairy tales and crazy television shows and movies.

Physical beauty and ideas of perfection are not what will attract and sustain a real authentic love story. Yes, he’s attracted to the beautiful object of his desires in the initial moments, but mature, enlightened men want more, much more than physical beauty alone. A real man wants someone with whom to build a long lasting and life affirming love relationship - physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.
