You might be thinking to yourself - why wouldn’t a man want to date a smart woman? Of course, enlightened healthy men want to date smart women. Desiring a love relationship that goes beyond a first date is all in the balance of that magical thing we call a love connection.

Do you know anyone who is a little bit too enamored with their own intelligence, resume and many accomplishments? It’s great to be smart in many ways, to be educated and really good at your job or whatever passion fuels your day. AND, I see particularly accomplished people sometimes get in trouble on first dates because they get wrapped up in talking too much about their resume. He or she wants to know more about you than what you do for a living and/or how successful you are.

Don’t get unwittingly mired in believing that you need to be perfect to find love. Men are not the one-dimensional creatures we’ve been led to believe by fairy tales and crazy television shows and movies.
